When I started learning to cook and overall getting interested in cooking, I used to buy so many gadgets/tools for my kitchen that overtime I realised I probably have accumulated everything I need in my kitchen & way more actually.
But then there is always something you don’t have and need. I probably bought quite a few things in last few years but there were some gadgets which I have been using a lot lately and absolutely love them, so decided to share them in case you guys are looking for one or you need recommendation.
Here some of my favorite kitchen purchases ->>
I was using Cuisinart dish rack for the longest time and recently switched to this as it is expandle. I like better as it is more spacious than my previous ones and it expands so when my dishwasher is full and I have tons more handwashed dishes, I can just open it up more and place them.
UPDATE as of Jan9 2020 : I have been using it for almost 3 years now and it’s still as good as new!
This one was recommended by my father-in-law and in all honesty, I was little hesitant to buy it at first since I already own Hurom’s slow juice presser and I have no space to store one more gadget. But then we ended up getting it and I LOVE LOVE it so much as juicing oranges or any citrus fruits is so much faster and cleaning the parts is easy too! Not to mention it’s affordable!
UPDATE as of Jan9 2020 : I just made some fresh Orange Juice yesterday and so many of you messaged me on Instagram asking it’s whereabouts!! MUT BUY!!
I was looking for making sandwiches at home that tasted just like the one I used to have growing up in India. I have been making spiced potato and onion sandwiches and one of my all time favorite tomato onion sandwiches in this. So good!!
UPDATE as of Jan9 2020 : Just made some paneer – veggie mix sandwiches recently while my inlaws were visiting and unlike making them on gas where they sort of got soggy, making them in here made them stay CRISPY!
I have few sets for Aria and it has been super helpful. The small containers hold perfect portion size for her and whenever we are out & about, I use these for taking her food, snacks and what not. I have kept even liquid sort of things in these containers and they never leaked. They also come with 2 spoons in their own case which makes them perfect for taking along. I have also gifted these!
UPDATE as of Jan9 2020: Now since she is almost 3.5 years old, I rarely take food for her but I have been these glass containers for storing leftover dressings, gravies, soups and what not!
When we moved from Denver in 2017 I left my Ikea crockery behind and was looking to buy something much nicer. This was the first ever time I shopped from Wayfair and I was so happy with the quality and the service. I ordered 2 of these sets and one bowl came broken. I was disappointed thinking they might not give me a replacement instead when I called, the staff was super helpful and then sent one full set for free in replacement for the damage.
UPDATE as of Jan9 2020 : I am still using this set. Few plates got chippes due to careless handling on my side but the extra set I received came in handy! BUT IN ALL AWESOME QUALITY FOR THE PRICE I PAID!
One of the best glass containers for food storage. I use them all the time. I wash the containers in dishwasher but never the lids. I have been washing the lids by hand. The glass containers are super sturdy, high quality thick material and perfecting for warming food in microwave.
UPDATE as of Jan9 2020 : I have been lazy and even washing the lids in microwave and VOILA THEY ARE STILL IN SUPER GREAT CONDITION!
We got them a while back as Ronak was really wanting to have these glasses. They are meant for beer but we mostly use these for drinking water and spindrift (one of our favorite drink these days)!
UPDATE as of Jan9 2020 : The quality has been great, still ONLY HAND WASHING THESE but there has been no chipping! Looks just like new still!
Ok so this set is a bit of splurge but I LOVE the quality of these pots & pans. Heavy, cooks evenly, uses very little oil. So worth the hefty price tag. I am not sure if Costco still carries them but I found them at much cheaper price during November in Costco. The only disadvantage – you need to handwash these but I don’t really mind that.
UPDATE as of Jan9 2020 : Still using them and absolutely loving them!
Ronak saw this at Costco and even though at first I wasn’t sure that I even needed it, I ended up loving these pans. They are super high quality, cook food with almost very little oil, DISHWASHER SAFE! I saw Amazon is selling them now but if you can, check your local Costco to see if you can find them there at much better price.
UPDATE as of Jan9 2020 : Love them and still using them!
